Hardcore isn't for the faint of heart. If something like that, or people dancing too hard, or getting your leg broken turns you off to hardcore, well then it probably isn't for you. they shouldn't need to learn to love this shit, it should click with them as soon as they see their first show. or at least they be interested enough to goto another show after that.
personally i agree i never have givin a shit about what happens but kids now a days arent "tough" people they are generally spoiled so they cant take talking shit or getting banged up a bit. breaking my leg didnt turn me off to shows i moved away if had been here i wouldve gone to show thats what ive missed most since ive been in a&m ask frank there is nothing up there but country

No, but really, when I started going to shows at Sal's, it was a different story. You had to at least be a bit tough to manage when there were still actual punks and skins at shows.
