fucking insane!
I was driving up Hillside and around McPherson... this huge lightning bolt struck behind me in the distance and all the light went out in the entire area I was at. Literally, everything just went black... light posts, signal lights, businesses and houses nearby. Then on my way back down McPherson towards Calton, another lightning bolt struck right in front of my car and hit a telephone line. Sparks were flying out of one of those cylinders and pouring all out into the street.
and to end it all, two blocks down from my house, there was this street that was flooded so bad... when I drove through the deepest end, the water rose up to my windshield in one big muddy wave. I dont know exactly how youre supposed to get out of a situation like that (probably avoiding it to begin with)... but I floored it and drove off into the shallow. My car started stalling a bit after that, but I made it home.
