At All Cost: Circle of Demons

Yeah, I'll admit. I was pretty into this band back then when they sounded a lot more like hardcore than the stuff they do now. Hell, I even liked them after "It's Time to Decide".

But I was looking for this CD around town today. I didn't expect to find it. So, I looked for it on SoulSeek and I found it.

Well, I guess you can say it's pretty much your "typical" At All Cost. Very different, very unique sound.

They mixed up once again with a new sound, not too different from their previous album but you can notice a difference between the two. However, its a lot more evenly distributed. Meaning, the songs don't all sound the same, sort of.

Some are just really fast and heavy while others are like, "WTF"? Others are both with a lot of instrumental pieces thrown in there.

They eased up on the voice synths and the "YEARGH's", as well. A bunch of clear vocals can be heard in a bunch of songs.

Overall, in my opinion, I'd say it's an okay album. Their old stuff will ALWAYS be better than what they're writing now. That's not to say that their new sound sucks, it just depends on what you're into and your diversity with music genres, I guess.

Simply put, If you didn't like "It's Time to Decide", you definitely won't like this.

Charlie, you are the last person to be talking down to anyone. AAC may suck now, but fyi, they've sucked since before you had even heard of them. They still happen to have a fun live show, so I still go see them when they come, but they've been pretty horrible on their albums for awhile now. I mean, it's bearable, but nothing that i'd listen to everyday.

Also, bringing up At All Costs is apples and oranges.

EDIT: They played that song Circle of Demons at the show at the Dug Out when that huge fight broke out. It's an alright song.

I think the new AAC is ok. I happen to like this style more than the old 20 breakdowns a minute stuff.
