its supposed to be the same thing.... uuugh.... but I don't even remember when I first started referring to it as "two-step"... it was probably around the time when metalcore was at a rise. We also called it the pizza maker if you waved your finger in the air in little circle, haha (thank the Sick Of It All video for that one)
