Last year, I seriously lost track of basically anything new thats been going on. I probably only picked up about 5 releases from 2006 and listened to few new bands. Have Heart (ofcourse), Verse, Shipwreck, Ignite... and I seriously can't think of anything else that I listened to off the top of my head.
I also really liked Pulling Teeth when they played here with Die Young. They had a lot of awesome things to say, and the music was really good... and I never really check new bands out anymore because the internet is just so over saturated with bad recycled hardcore bands, and few bands actually catch my attention anymore.
Whats new in 2007? Whats going on in Texas?
and to contribute to this thread... I'll go ahead and urge everyone to listen to SOUL CONTROL from Providence, Rhode Island! They've got a 7inch on RIvalry Records Out!

I fell out of the loop when I moved to Austin and did nothing but work and go to Magic TG tournaments, HA! I've heard a few good bands on Myspace, but I forget their names. I usually add them if I like them. Oh, and they're mostly non-U.S. bands too. Other than that I would like to see where this thread goes, maybe I can find some new good bands.

but the new blacklisted is great Peace on earth, war on stage
other than that im just listening to older stuff hardcore and non hardcore
Integrity queens of the stone age etc.....
i agree with alex the internet is filled with a bunch of crap people call hardcore
i blame it on myspace
that website is the reason every other dude at a show is looking like davey havock or however you spell that queers name ( and yes jj i like one afi song dont even start)

Sacred Shock has a demo tape out and Repercussions has a 12" EP out on 540. Brutal Knights from Canada has an awesome LP out called Feast of Shame. For fans of Dead Kennedys/Circle Jerks/Black Flag The new Bad Brains is gonna rule. Die Young's Graven Images rules. The Energy EP, Punch the Clock, is awesome! Also this year: DOWN III Bitter End LP - Climate of Fear Insect Warfare LP Iron Age LP Livin LP I know I'm missing some shit.
