hebe2.sharebig.com/d/scxuwpudy/0x9fyNV45C4809E09/Esbjorn%20Svensson%20Trio.zip.htm
I'm not really sure how to describe 'em, but I know they're considered jazz, and it's damn chill music.
Failure Face - Complete Failure (Discog.)
www.sharebig.com/d/stustpgim/0nIh0Xl45C7C52606/Failure%20Face.zip.htm
Really intense hardcore. Going from riffs at breakneck speeds to heavy breakdowns and condemning all of society, all before lunch. The OG Ceremony.
EPMD - Business As Usual
www.sharebig.com/d/sdcrtuqtu/0cCA5pj45C7C52E06/EPMD.zip.htm
Eric Sermon's old hip-hop group. Smooth beats, and dope rhymes. Sermon and crew gave a lot of up and coming rappers their first digs, including Redman.
Redemption 87 - All Guns Poolside
www.sharebig.com/d/shpfolfco/0e5bzIh45C7C53006/Redemption%2087.zip.htm
Youth of Today. Cali-edition. Ripping '88 style NY hardcore with a Cali flare. Cappo Growl included. All Guns Poolside also contains covers of Bad Brains, Negative Approach, and the Cro-Mags. Members went on to form the Nerve Agents, and their guitarist, Jade Puget, went on to join AFI just after they recorded the A Fire Inside EP.
Bümbklåått - Ciegos 10"
www.sharebig.com/d/smxvosmnk/0HdYnwi45CCAA380A/Ciegos.zip.htm
Ripping d-beat/hardcore from San Diego, CA/Tijuana, Mexico. Saw 'em at Chaos in Tejas '05, and I can easily say that they were one of the highlights of that weekend. So much intensity packed into one live show. If you ever get a chance to see 'em, def go see 'em.
Electric Six - Señor Smoke
www.sharebig.com/d/swacnysyt/0ySCBr445CCAA3D0A/Se%C3%B1or%20Smoke.zip.htm
I don't what to say about this band other than that they rule.
WarSquad - Can't Control the Youth 7"
www.sharebig.com/d/srgkqionq/0climcH45CCABA40A/War%20Squad.zip.htm
Thrashy hardcore punk band from Rochester, NY. Bassist for I Object!'s old band, and he put out this 7" on his label, Punks Before Profits. They had a real skate rock influence in their music. They even did a cover of Los Olvidados' Bang Bang You're Dead. I just wish they had released more stuff aside from just this 7".
Ocean - Here Where Nothing Grows EP
www.sharebig.com/d/sgpejmecg/01agEYn45CCABB20A/Ocean.zip.htm
Super heavy sludge from Portland, ME. 3 song EP with each song being around 20 minutes long.
Braineaters - Braineaters LP
www.sharebig.com/d/swuullwpx/0MpftPD45CCABC90A/Braineaters.zip.htm
Epic Japanese hardcore. Similar to Etae. Really awesome stuff. All I know of this record is that it was pressed as an LP for their US tour in 2004, which is like their only pressed material. hah, pretty crazy, but I can't find any other info on them.
Mind Eraser - Cave LP
www.sharebig.com/d/spstnumpg/0E6PO6T45CCBE550A/Cave.rar.htm
Really awesome PV-influenced hardcore from Boston, MA. Features DFJ of Boston Hardcore fame. Heavy, hard, and not for the weak at heart.
Fearless Iranians From Hell - Discog. (Die for Allah LP; Holy War LP; Foolish Americans LP; FIFH EP)
www.sharebig.com/d/soqprifqm/0Aqiqr945CCBED30A/Fearless%20Iranians%20From%20Hell.rar.htm
Probably one of the greatest bands to come out of South Texas. Featuring 2 ex-members of the Butthole Surfers and an actual Iranian, this band ripped George W. Sr.'s administration a new one with their pseudo-militant islamic banter and full on assault on all that Americans stood for. Spitting pure rage and hatred that was as perfect for it's time as it would be now, which is probably why this long forgotten band has been resurrected and done a few shows around TX in the past year or so.
Dresden 45 - Paradise Lost (Expanded)
www.sharebig.com/d/slhqppobf/0Xwrdp145CE16210A/Dresden%2045.rar.htm
Old school thrash/hardcore band from Houston, TX. Probably one of the better crossover bands of all time. Have done 2 reunion strings of shows in the past like 5 years. Now centered in Austin, TX, this band has been ripping it up since the mid-80's.
Daft Punk - Homework; Discovery; Human After All
www.sharebig.com/d/szzoryzqz/0Yn5r9I45CE170B0A/Daft%20Punk.rar.htm
I shouldn't have to explain this group.
Uniform Choice - Screaming for Change
www.sharebig.com/d/spasoryaa/098Ki1a45CE170D0A/Screaming%20for%20Change.rar.htm
SoCal Straight Edge Hardcore from the 80's. For fans of Unity, Unit Pride, Wide Awake, Vitality, etc etc. Fast, straight forward, and a lot of fun.
Hated Youth - Hardcore Rules 7"
www.sharebig.com/d/shqpmniuj/0egKICL45CE17270A/Hated%20Youth.rar.htm
Some of y'all may remember this band from when I did an interview with their singer for TftH. Totally pissed-off hardcore punk from Florida, circa 1981.
