how many of you guys get retro with your music and listen to vinyl or cassettes?
and if you don't listen to them, does anyone ever buy vinyl or cassettes from touring bands?
Its a real common thing in hardcore... but I've always wondered how most people in Laredo felt about it. Would anyone buy a demo from a Laredo band that was released on either of those formats?

i finally got a record player so i can listen to the vinyls that i have, but i cant stand tapes i hate them

vinyl just sounds so good if kept in a good condition. I listen to my dad's old records and they sound really good.

i have vinyl, but rarely listen to it. i'm all about the technology; get a cd or d/l from YSI, megaupload, etc, rip it, put it in my ipod, lets go. i have a record player, but it's just been taking up space in our room since we got it.

I only play my records once. I rip them to my cpu, upload to my ipod, and no longer need to play em. I see no point in cassettes anymore. I only used them to make mixed tapes, but now with the iPod, I no longer need it.
