Thats exactly what you pay when you buy bottled water apparently. (Dasani, which is coca cola's water, is also just filtered tap water.) and I heard (not 100% sure)... that the water from those water mills that you pay quarters for to fill up the jugs is the same thing... filtered, "purified", its all just tap water. Sucks... but Im investing in a water filter now!

People who drink nothing but bottle water are more prone to getting ill than people who drink tap water.
It has something to do with tap water containing more bacteria and your body just starts building immunities or something.

yea most tap water is just river water with chlorine and other chemicals to kill the harmful bacteria and besides that i remeber there use to be reports on how laredo water was like one of the cleanest water supplies in the US |

I drink a lot of water from those 5 gallon garrafones.
I went a project on one when I was in Saltillo about them for Chem. they use at least 5 processes to make sure your water is as clean as possible.
