Keith has totally got a point. He explains why bush has screwed up everything and it shows with bush's ratings being the lowest by any president if I'm not mistaken. Keith is a badass to stand up and report all this shit, but I say fuck politics because I don't like them and never will. I know there incredibly important but all this shit doesn't interest me, in fact it bothers me. This is the mentality most of the youth has these days. This is why some one like bush gets elected president. No one wants to deal with politics or even learn a thing or two about what is really important in this damn country... what is keeping us from becoming some shitty ass third world or communist country. I know things can get shitty in such a capitalist country like ours. I know that money runs this country for the most part. But I wouldn't want to be any where else, where freedom and change aren't respected. Sure some of you might say "what freedom" but its true.... we have a way of freedom that many other countries don't. And I know that sooner or later this empire is going to fall just like all other empires have.... but i am not about to give up or sitting around complaining or be ignorant to the situation, so someone else can come tell me how i have to live my life. I'll appreciate it and take advantage.... if possible, help make a difference for the better or at least help maintain what we have now. Don't give up on politics, don't stop wanting to learn about our country, our constitution, our rights as people of this country and our rights as humans. This country was built on the idea that the people could have control over their own country... so why are you, the people, giving up that control to the douche bags. If you really want a change, get informed, study it, reach out to others and start a movement to better this country... or become a politician and dont loose your ways and keep a straight face until the very end when you have accomplish your goal to better this place. |
