I have finally decided on what to do with this website, and I am looking for people to volunteer to help me with this project.
I realized a while back since I stopped updating the website that maintaining a site like this is not very necessary since any kind of promotion can be done on MySpace (or other forms on the Internet) now. Not to mention how out of touch I have gotten with all the local bands forming and breaking up, diverse shows and all...
but the idea of having a web site based on Laredo's Hardcore scene has always been an interest of mine... so here is my final decision.
Over the years, I have collected lots of flyers, demos, t-shirts, stickers, buttons, that had some significance to Laredo Hardcore. I have a huge box full of this stuff, and I'm planning on uploading everything and cataloging it all onto this website.
It'll be a huge database with pics and info on every item, dated and organized, and it won't require any maintenance, but will always be up for reference, or just to reminisce on all the good shit that Laredo bands have produced.
I'm getting started on this immidiately, but I would appreciate any help that I can get. Mainly, I need people with scanners and simple photo software to scan some of the flyers and demos that I have and resize and crop them to an appropriate fit. Theres tons of this stuff, so the more people that could help, the easier and faster we could get this up.
Please let me know what you can do... if you have a digital camera, I could really use your help as well... I don't have mine and won't have it for a while.
