try the Tofu Stir Fry from Genjis on McPherson.... good stuff!
its vegan (and so far the only place that I've found that serves this), and I'm sure if you ask them to prepare it another way (sesame tofu?)... they'd probably do it.
We're gonna hit up Genjis next Saturday before the Boogie Bash, so whoever wants to go then holla!

is that the only place in laredo that serves tofu??? i remember i could never find any place that would serve tofu when i was there.
anyway, WanFu serves the best General Tsao's Tofu...and it's right across the street from the apartments i'm staying at!!!!

so far yes... Ive called an asked at several places... and usually they serve their tofu with egg noodles, or animal broth. not only that, but most "asian" food places are fucking sushi / mexican food bars... Gengi actually has japanese variety.

I honestly think I'm one of the few people in Laredo who cooks a variety of things with tofu and isn't asian. yesterday, for lunch, i ate: BBQ tofu peppered corn mashed potatoes mmmmmmmmmm is that the only place in laredo that serves tofu??? i remember i could never find any place that would serve tofu when i was there. anyway, WanFu serves the best General Tsao's Tofu...and it's right across the street from the apartments i'm staying at!!!! I haven't tried WanFu's, but Mai's General Tso's Tofu rules. |

Place rules. you must be contesting the onions and if by better, you mean, worse.... then...... yes Veggie Heaven has onions in their thunder tofu Veggie Heaven rules, but Mai's is better, imo. Their Thunder Tofu is really good, though. |

sweet...i'm barely going on my first year....a few years back when i first attempted vegetaranism i was tempted into eating a pepperoni pizza from sals....i ate it.....i was such a fool.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....i still have nightmares....

I've been vegan since 2003... and I'm getting tired of what I'm eating, mostly because I can't eat out (in Laredo.. booo) and cooking every meal of the day is real exhausting. I can't wait for the east coast... there is seriously so much to eat over there.
