did anyone watch Fox News this morning?
Sheriff Rick Flores and Mayor Ruben Salinas were both interviewed on the topic of border protection... mind you, this was on Fox, which was broadcast on National television! The story started with the new cameras following around a Board Patrol officer, and detaining two guys from Honduras trying to cross in from Mexico, but they quickly changed the headline to "But Laredo officials say that the real problem on the border isn't illegal immigration... its TERRORISM"
Rick Flores is then interviewed saying all this shit about how easy it is for terrorists to come across the Mexican border...
the funny part comes up when they show some pictures of badges, supposedly belonging to Al Queda Air Force troops, or something to that nature... then they comment about Ruben Salinas stating that it is not known if the badges were taken from an actual person trying to cross the border!!!!
Mayor Salinas' interview was a lot different... contrary to Rick Flores'... he disapproved most allegations made about Al Queda crossing through the Mexican border... and disapproved the allegations made that Al Queda has any training camps in Nvo. Laredo!
so to sum up Laredo's 5 minute news story this morning... we're a bunch of attention hungry losers that can't agree on a single story to tell about the Border situation!
